People, pets, memes, oh my! I have always been captivated by process with portrait paintings. Portraits allow me to meditate on the sculptural qualities of my subject matter as I carve out the surfaces with each brush stroke—bulges and dimples, creases and highlights. I absolutely love getting lost in portraiture.
